South Street Appointment Flow:

  • 1. Call the Surgery: Face-to-Face and Telephone Appointments
    Please call or visit the surgery for same-day appointments if your request is urgent. We can offer face-to-face or telephone appointments on the day. If our appointment book is full on the day, please complete the online form (link below) before 1PM. If submitted after 1PM we will review the next working day. 020 8293 3330.

  • 2. Call or visit for a routine appointment
    If you require a routine appointment, similar to the above, please call or visit the surgery.

  • 3. Submit an Online Request
    You can submit an online consultation request here. If you wish your request to be triaged on the same day, please submit it before 1 PM. Requests received after 1 PM will be triaged the following day. Online Consultation Requests are available Monday to Friday.

  • 4. Urgent Care/999
    You can visit urgent care centres when it’s not a life-threatening emergency. Please click here for more information about Urgent Care Centres. You should call 999 in a life-threatening medical or mental health emergency. Life-threatening emergencies are different for adults and children. Outside our normal opening hours, we offer extended access appointments on Thursdays between 18:30 – 20:00

Appointment Reminders:
We now have the facility to send out appointment reminders via a text service. At the time of a patient registering with the practice their mobile number will be automatically included to receive this service.
If you would like to opt out of receiving text reminders, please make reception aware.

Cancelling or Changing An Appointment:
The best way to cancel or change your appointment is via the Accurx appointment reminder we send as an SMS. Alternatively, phone us on 02082 933330 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm) or visit the practice when we are open (hours we are open above.)

Travelling Aboard:
Please remember that when traveling abroad, we are not insured, and we are not in the best position to give you medical advice. As a result, we will be unable to consult with you until you are back in the UK. This includes telephone and online consultations.

Chaperones
We are committed to maintaining professional standards. For certain examinations during consultations an impartial observer, called a chaperone, will be required. This impartial observer will be a practice Nurse, Health Care Assistant or chaperone trained receptionist who is familiar with the procedure and be available to reassure and raise any concerns on your behalf. If a chaperone is unavailable at the time of your consultation, then your examination may be re-scheduled for another time. You are free to decline any examination or chose an alternative examiner or chaperone. You may also request a chaperone for any examination or consultation if one is not offered to you. The GP may not undertake an examination if a chaperone is declined.
